Increasingly America is being divided by accusations of racism.

Webster’s Dictionary defines racism as:

racism. 1 : a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race.

For the Christian, racism is sinful. We believe that we are all descended from one man, and thus we are all brothers and sisters. This grants us a common natural dignity. We also believe that our Lord Jesus Christ shed his blood for each and every person without distinction. Christ elevates human dignity since every human person is included in the redemptive act of Christ.

Moreover, the New Testament is full of exhortations for the believer to see past the genetic lines of Jew and Gentile. And the Book of Revelation details how every tribe, tongue, and nation partake of the eternal Kingdom of Christ.

It’s now being claimed that anyone who objects to the hashtag #BlackLivesMatter is de facto racist. In fact, stating “all lives matter” is now considered racist.

David Theo Goldberg, a South African critical race theory professor, explains:

“‘All Lives Matter’ implies that all lives are equally at risk, and they’re not”.

This is patently false. The English term “matters” does not speak to “being at risk.”

If I say, “All animals matter,” I’m not implying that all animals are equally endangered.

If I say, “All children at this hospital matter,” I’m not implying that all children are equally at risk or need more attention than others.

If an adoptive parent says, “My biological white child matters, and my adopted child of color matters,” he is not saying anything racist and he is not lowering the status of either child.

In English, the term “matters” entails having worth or dignity. As Christians, we believe that every human life has equal dignity and worth. Each life matters equally to God. Not one group, denomination, race, or club gets to claim priority on who especially “matters” in a certain place or in a certain time.

The fact of the matter is that all lives matter equally. By isolating one race as deserving superior attention or “mattering more” meets the very definition of racism. It’s reverse racism and we need to call for it what it is.

At root, the #BlackLivesMatter movement is a socialist group funded by George Soros. It’s a billionaire using a group of hurt people for political ends. For proof, note that #BlackLivesMatter leader DeRay Mckesson lives in a house owned by George Soros. Moreover, it is estimated that Soros has donated $33 million to the BlackLivesMatter movement. This is ultimately a ploy of Soros to divide the American people and divide us from one another.

Refuse to be sucked into race-baiting. It’s part of the Marxist narrative to destroy our nation and culture. Treat every human person with respect and dignity. God knows that certain people and certain groups need special care and special attention. We can all agree on that and we should work for justice to all who have been mistreated and abused. We all matter to God and we should all matter to one another.

Do you agree or disagree that one which lives matter? Please leave a comment.
